Short Course

Leadership - Working Together

Sunday 2nd to Wednesday 5th July 2017

Collaborative working has never been more important in ministry – but do we really know what it means?
This residential course is suitable for anyone exercising leadership in a church setting, lay or clergy and for those who belong to ministry teams.
Participants will have an intense, enjoyable experience of working both as a leader and in a team. They will reflect on how their own and others' behaviour helps or hinders getting the work done through a series of activities, case studies and group exercises.
The course is built on an integrated experience of robust organisational theory including leadership, team working, the nature of work, the structure of organisations, values and culture, systems, symbols and behaviour, and the tools available to build a productive culture and lead change.

The course will be led by Hilary Ison and David Dadswell.

We will enjoy the hospitality of Ripon College Cuddesdon, renowned for its good food, convivial surroundings and the stunning Bishop Edward King Chapel.

All are welcome to attend, lay and ordained.

The all-inclusive cost of this residential short course is £275.
Discounts are available for those wishing to come as part of a group of 3 or more.  Please contact Keith Glenny (01865 877417) for further details.
