Conferences

As a venue for your event, Ripon College Cuddesdon offers a relaxed and historic setting, excellent catering facilities, good accommodation, a choice of fully equipped seminar rooms, and a very warm welcome.

Vacation-time:

Private Dining facilites for 30 to 80 people in the newly refurbished Dining Hall.

Overnight accommodation for up to 35 people.

Term-time:

Self-service meals through the Servery and eaten in the Dining Hall with our students.

Overnight accommodation for up to 15 people.

Conference Facilities

The College is an extremely attractive venue for residential conferences, corporate meetings, seminars and retreats. The historic buildings offer comfortable accommodation and a number of meeting rooms catering for groups of varying sizes. Day groups of up to 60 can be accommodated throughout the year, and full residential facilities for up to 35 provided during the College vacations. A full range of audio-visual equipment including data projection is available on request.

Accommodation

There is accommodation for 35 people in single rooms. All rooms are fully modernised and are equipped with telephone and computer points. Each room has a wash basin and facilities to make tea and coffee, with shared toilets and bathrooms on each corridor. Rooms for disabled users are available on the ground floor although some areas of College have restricted wheelchair access.

In addition, there are 2 self contained flats, two doubles and one single, with their own kitchen and bathroom facilities. These can be used as additional conference accommodation or by individuals as a place to come for quiet, study or reflection.

Catering

Meals are taken in the Dining Hall which seats up to 80 people and serves delicious, home cooking. Our catering staff pride themselves on their varied menu and are pleased to cater for special diets and any occasion.

Facilities for Worship and Reading

The College Chapel seats 70 people and provides an inspiring setting for worship and meditation. There is also an extensive and up-to-date theological library which can be made available to delegates on request.

Other facilities

There is a comfortable common room with open fire for relaxing during conference breaks and in the evenings. In the extensive grounds there is a croquet lawn, tennis court, cricket and football pitch. There is easy access to a number of pleasant country walks. Car parking is available adjacent to the College buildings.

Below is a table to act as a guide to our room hire rates. Half day hire is available and discounts for two or more consecutive days. Room hire rates include the use of a whiteboard, flip chart, overhead projector, laptop and data projector.
