Ordination Training

The College has around 150 students training for ordained ministry in the Anglican Church at any one time. Around half of this number train residentially and come and live in the Cuddesdon community, either as single students or with their family, for one, two or three years.

Other students train non-residentially attending one of our teaching centres in Oxford, Gloucester and Ludlow for evenings and weekends, with the addition of one intensive residential course each year. Depending on your geographical location, you will be enrolled with the Oxford Ministry Course or the West of England Ministerial Course. For those who cannot become full-time residential students but have short periods available for more intensive study, the College offers dual-track training.

Lay Ministry

The College offers courses for a variety of lay ministries including Reader training through WEMTC, Pre-ordination courses, Biblical studies, and Christian Rural and Environmental studies. For details, please see our Courses Programme.
