9 - 11 June 2027
A retreat lead by the Revds Stephen Dinsmore, Pauline Shepherd and Sue Hope from ReSource.
Cost £220: includes ensuite accommodation, all meals and refreshments.
The retreat offers you the opportunity and time to pay attention to God and God's work in your life, for you to pray and reflect, and to renew, rest, restore and repair.
Each retreatant has their own retreat guide who will assist you to focus. A service of Holy Communion with short address in the morning, and Compline at night complete the framework to facilitate your retreat.
This is a retreat both for those for whom this will be their first silent individually guided retreat and for those for whom it is not - all will be most welcome.
Leaders' Biographies:
Stephen’s passion is to see God’s people released and repaired to fulfil their calling through encounter with the Spirit.
He ministered in parishes in Hull, County Durham, North London, Plymouth, and Essex. For over a decade before retirement he led the mission agency SOMA, fulfilling his passion to encourage, equip and empower church leaders through encounter with the Sprit, ministering internationally mostly across East Africa and the Indian subcontinent.
He retired from SOMA in 2021 and now lives and worships in rural Somerset. He is married to Janet, has three adult children and six grandchildren. He enjoys appreciating family, creation, and being on the water.
Pauline lives in Richmond North Yorkshire.
'I am a retired Anglican priest with permission to officiate in Leeds and Lichfield Dioceses . I am originally from York where I came to faith in my early teens through the witness of my RE teacher and the ministry of the late Rev David Watson.
In the 1970’s and early 80’s I lived in community and was part of the team travelling with David on citywide missions. I have been involved in church leadership in lay and ordained capacities. I was ordained in 2003.
I have many years experience as a Spiritual Director which is my primary calling. I long to see people finding the depth of God’s love for them and providing a safe space for them to work out their spiritual journey. I feel privileged to be part of this ministry of walking alongside people in this way.'
