Dr Eleanor McLaughlin gives Project Bonhoeffer lecture

9th January 2024

Our Lecturer in Theology, Dr Eleanor McLaughlin, is giving an online lecture introducing Bonhoeffer’s prison writing, focusing in particular on two concepts that appear during this period: religionless Christianity and unconscious Christianity. She will investigate what Bonhoeffer meant when he wrote about these two forms of Christian expression, and consider the similarities and differences between the two. She will end by asking what practical implications these two concepts might have for us today.

The lecture will take place at 2.30pm on Monday 15th January online - details can be found at: https://www.projectbonhoeffer.org.uk/events/
